Did you know that if you qualify for one program, you may qualify for others? A typical local student can qualify for multiple programs, reducing the cost of education—sometimes to nearly $0.
- Pell Grant – Maximum award is $7,395 for the 2023–24 award year.
- American Indian Education Fund – Up to $500 per year.
- Alu Like – Federal Program – Up to $1,400 to $2,800.
- Alu Like – Hana Lima – Up to $1500 per year, Maximum $3,000.
- PACT – Parents and Children Together – $500 for a Diploma or $500 per year for a Degree.
- HCAP – Honolulu Community Action Program – Up to $1400. One-time award; must apply prior to start.
- HPGS – Hawaii Pacific Gerontological Society – Up to $750. One-time award.
- APIA – Asian Pacific Islander American Scholars – $2,000–$20,000. Only available for Degrees.
- Hawaii Community Foundation – $500 to $6,000. Can apply once per year.
- Mauli Ola Mālamalama – From $500 – Full tuition.
- American Job Center – Up to $4,000.
- Ho’omau Foundation – $1,000 to $2,500. One-time award for Associate Degree only.
